In terms of gaming laptops, the Acer Predator series of laptops is quite famous. If you are thinking of getting it, you will be glad to know that at IFA 2019 Acer announced several new gaming laptops. This comes in the form of the Acer Predator Triton 300 and Predator Triton 500.
Starting with the Triton 300, this is a gaming laptop aimed at gamers whose priority is mobility. Acer boasts that the Triton 300 only weighs 2.3kg, which while not overly light, is still fairly lightweight compared to larger gaming laptops. Under the hood, we're seeing the use of an Intel Core 9 i Gen 9 processor alongside an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GPU, with support for up to 32GB of RAM, 2x 1TB SSD for those who need additional storage, and HD 2 Normal TB. It also has a 15.6-inch Full HD screen that offers a 144Hz refresh rate and a 3ms response time.
As for the Triton 500, it is expected to share a number of specifications that are similar to the Triton 300, but there will be a big difference. Meanwhile, it will also display a 15.6-inch Full HD screen, the Triton 500 will come with a refresh rate of 300Hz. In terms of price and availability, Acer has valued the Triton 300 at EUR 1,299 and is expected to launch in the EMEA region this October.
The Triton 500, on the other hand, will launch in North America this December at a price of $ 2,799.
