Acer unveils Swift 5, world's lightest 14-inch notebook

THE Acer announced on IFA 2019 new Swift series notebooks. In particular, the manufacturer calls the updated version of Swift 5 as the world's lightest 14-inch notebook, and its “stuffing” includes a 10-nanometer Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor (4 cores / 8 threads, 1.3 / 3.9 GHz) and an Nvidia GeForce MX250 graphics chip .

The Acer Swift 5 received a metal case with a thickness of 14.95 mm and weighs only 990 grams. The device is equipped with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution IPS touch screen, up to 512 GB capacity NVMe unit, a Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) wireless module and a 56 Wh battery for up to 12, 5 hours of battery life. The amount of LPDDR4X RAM is up to 16 GB.


Acer promises a range of 12.5 hours for the notebook. Thanks to the fast charging technology present in Swift 5, 30 minutes of charging already guarantees the user up to 4.5 hours of use.
