All major manufacturers have already said present, in one way or another, on the eve of launch of 5G networks. Well, not everyone, so far there is an absent that some weight has in the industry: Apple.
Although the American company has not referred to the issue, Bloomberg ensures that they just have plans to launch their first 5G compatible iPhone in 2020, and it could even be a year later.
Apparently Apple It is clear that the fifth generation of mobile networks is not massively implemented before that date, so it seems to have no trouble in this section. Remember that iPhone still use an Intel modem, so it will be very difficult to get ahead of the rest.
Perhaps a good surprise would be to see those of Cupertino also develop their own modems, which would allow them to handle – even more – all aspects of the device's internal. For now the other option is Qualcomm, but apparently their proposed deadlines are practically the same as the competition.
What difference does this make in real life? Virtually none, especially for Chilean users, since we are not even close to seeing functional 5G networks in our country.
