Popular competitor of streaming services, the YouTube Premium slipped into the originals and paid media services market in September 2018 and immediately announced the distribution of its own content, increasing the catalog and variety of both alternatives and exclusive television news belonging to the "Originals" tab.
Still not very popular, the series Snake Kai has been standing out and getting a certain fervor from the audience, drawing attention for being based on the nostalgic journey of action and comedy The Karate Kid. So much success led the YouTube to release the web series for free for a certain period: from August 29th to September 11th it will make available the first season and then the second. Remember that the gratuity of the series is already under discussion, with the possibility of expanding to the entire catalog only with the addendum to contain ads during the exhibition.
Snake Kai it features William Zabka and Ralph Macchio reliving their roles from the original trilogy (Johnny Lawrence and Daniel Larusso, respectively) and has already been renewed for a third season, but has no official release date yet. With excellent rating in IMDb (8.8) and 96% in the Rotten tomatoes, the series already has 20 episodes and hundreds of millions of views.
Here's the third season ad teaser.
