During the 71st Emmy Awards, Netflix unveiled a new teaser for El Camino: A Breaking Bad Film. He shows Jesse Pinkman, a character played by Aaron Paul, in a car, standing in the middle of the desert while listening to news about his search on the radio. See the teaser below:
The film will be a direct sequence of Breaking Bad, showing Jesse's escape shortly after being released from his captivity. In addition to Paul, Charles Baker and Matt L. Jones return to their roles as Jessie's friends Skinny Pete and Badger, respectively. Another confirmed name for the movie is Jonathan Banks (Mike).
Breaking Bad It debuted in 2008 and featured five seasons. The series follows Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry professor who decides to make methamphetamine to pay for his cancer treatment. Along with Jesse Pinkman, he becomes one of the most successful drug dealers in the United States while trying to hide his criminal activity from the family.
During your viewing, Breaking Bad won several awards, Golden Globe and Emmy, for best drama series. The protagonists, Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston, were also recognized for their performances in the series.
Vince Gilligan, creator of the series, signs the script for El Camino: A Breaking Bad Film. He will also direct the movie that will be released on Netflix on October 11th. The film will also be screened in some theaters in the United States from October 11 to 13.
