While everyone waited for Plant Vs Zombies: Gardan Warfare 3, a trailer from another game leaked and we all learned that it would not be called that but Plant Vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. EA was forced to remove the leaked trailer and act as if nothing had happened since today the launch of the game for October 18 was made official.
That said, you can now access and play if you buy the founders edition for $ 30 in the Origin store of EA. Those who play from today and for the 6 weeks before the official launch will receive prizes within the game and also save money since when it opens in October it will cost 10 dollars more.
And you might want to buy this right now and try it since Electronic Arts and Pòpcap Games seem to have gone big with this title. Garden Warfare was a shooter that had been inspired by the original strategy game that became popular on PCs and mobile devices. This spin-off was as fun as the strategy game and was strangely popular for being a shooter competing with Call of Duty and company.
That is why the first leaks implied that the third part of Garden Warfare would arrive, but no. Battle for Neighborville now tries to compete with games with central hubs, open world, missions, PVP and cosmetic elements. That is to say that we are facing another game like Fortnite, Destiny, PUBG, etc. The only difference is that this does not seem to be so focused on PVP but on PVE and social interaction.
The expanded garden
That said, everything will depend on the player and his preferences, but the truth is that in this game you can do everything. From hanging out in the central hub with minigames, to changing your avatar (which can be a plant or a zombie), to just chatting with friends.
The other locations focus on the fairly typical PVP arenas and other game modes that take the best of Garden Warfare and empower it with new DPS characters and support and a new game mode that lets us merge with two other teammates to form a big tree with acorns if we choose the plants and a great war ship if we choose the zombies.
On the other hand, there will also be regions to explore, basically it is a part of the map where we can play with open-world mechanics fulfilling missions for NPCs and knowing more about this world that Popcap took off its sleeve.
The game is a great step forward for the saga and we do not doubt that if your fans like it, it will begin to evolve in the same direction as other similar titles where you can build your own levels and terrains and give space to creativity.
Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is available right now if you buy the founders edition at Origin, if you decide to wait for the official launch you will have to pay 10 dollars more and you will have to wait until October 18. We leave the official trailer, it is the same that leaked a few days ago.
