More and more applications, especially social media, are starting to offer the "dark" mode, better known as Dark Mode, among the options available to users. After introducing it on Messenger, it seems that Facebook is moving to achieve the goal even within the main application, at least on Android.

Of course, it is a embryonic stage of the development of the new functionality, which at the moment is not accessible even in beta. We don't know when it could be released in the first one official release, but we are sure of one thing: Android Q soon it will arrive in the first stable version and will bring with it all the attention to the use of Dark Mode. So, the developers of Facebook they will certainly have to work hard to bring the dark theme to the official app within a reasonable time, by the end of the year.
We remind you that the dark theme is not to be considered a current fashion, which will soon no longer attract the attention of users. Using a dark theme on a smartphone has at least two advantages very important:
- allows you to fatigue your eyesight much less, especially when there is little ambient light around;
- guarantees a minimum consumption of energy resources on OLED display.
