Fractal Design announces a new high-end case, the ERA. Dedicated to small form factor configurations, it supports Mini-ITX motherboards and an SFX or ARX power supply.
Its design is based on an aluminum dress and a steel chassis. It has dimensions of 325 x 166 x 310 mm and a weight of 4 kg. Internally the power supply is placed vertically at the front to free up space for installing an AIO.
Depending on its format, the box does not offer the storage configuration. With ATX we have two 2.5 inch slots and one 3.5 inch slot. An SFX power supply allows two 3.5 inch hard drives or one hard drive and two 2.5 inch SSDs in addition to four SSDs or 2 SSDs and one HDD.
The case reserves 200 mm for the power supply and 295, 210 or 190 mm for the graphics card. For its part the cooler benefits from 120 mm. Basic cooling is provided by a single 80 mm fan positioned at the rear (SSR3 80 mm). Added to this are two 120mm fans on the top and two 140mm fans on the bottom but without the presence of a dual-slot graphics card.
The equipment includes dust filters, a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port and two USB 3.0 ports. Finally, AIO Watercooling is possible with space for a 120 or 240 radiator on the top.
The ERA is announced in several finishes at the single price of € 164.99.
