The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 has just been formalized. It embeds a new dial with tactile borders for navigation and the One UI interface adapted to Tyzen. Two sizes (44mm and 40mm) are available. An LTE compatible version is also available.
After the tablet Galaxy Tab S6 a few days ago and meanwhile the Galaxy Note 10, Samsung has as promised officially launched the Galaxy Watch Active 2 this August 5, 2019, six months after the first model. The connected watch naturally embeds some improvements over the old model. The first is the integration of the One UI interface, found on smartphones of the mark since the Galaxy S10, to the Tyzen OS. It promises a "simple, clear and natural user experience for navigation". The latter is also facilitated by a new dial, some touch borders allow the scrolling menus.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2: two sizes, One UI arrives
Several models of the connected watch are available. Consumers first have the choice between two sizes: 44mm and 40mm. The first offers a 1.4-inch 360-pixel 360-pixel Super AMOLED display and a 340 mAh battery. The smaller one offers a 1.2 inch slab and a battery with capacity of 247 mAh. Performance side, there is a chip Exynos 9110 Dual Core 1.15 GHz. The Galaxy Watch Active 2 comes in two versions: Bluetooth 5.0 or LTE.

The connected watch will be launched in the United States in September 2019. It is not yet known if it will be the same for Europe. For now Samsung has only officialized the dollar prices for the United States, but the German site AllAboutSamsung has published the euro prices for the old continent:
