Galaxy Z Fold 2 arrives in Brazil in October with national production

This Wednesday (2), Samsung held an online event to announce the arrival of its new line products Galaxy to Brazil. The big news was the Galaxy Z Fold 2, released yesterday (1st) in the United States.

Launched internationally for US$2,000, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be sold in Brazil in October, but no price has yet been announced. Rumors that the product would be produced locally were confirmed, and the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be produced at Samsung’s plant in Campinas, in the interior of the state of São Paulo.

One of the news that draws attention in Galaxy Z Fold 2 is the increase in the external screen, which went from 4.6 inches to 6.2. The internal display also grew, going from 7.3 inches to 7.6 inches, losing the notch of the Fold original. The change happened because the front camera is now in a small cutout on one side of the screen.

The new display has a 120 Hz refresh rate, QXGA resolution and is made from the same material as the Galaxy Z Flip, the Ultra Thin Glass (UTG). The hinge has also been reinforced and many of the system features seen in Flip have been added to the new smartphone.

O Galaxy Z Flip is one of the smartphones most innovative in the market. It has a foldable structure that fits in a pocket, 2 screens, the largest being 6.7 inches, 8 GB of RAM, dual camera and plenty of battery.
