A year ago, we shared the existence of The Waylanders: an RPG developed by Wild Cat, a Spanish studio, and Mike Laidlaw, the former director of Dragon age. With notable inspirations in the great RPG of BioWare, the creation is presented as an attractive role title that promises an extremely unique adventure, adjective that they will try to achieve thanks to the participation of personalities such as Chris Avellone, legendary Obsidian writer, Emily Grace Buck, designer at Telltale Games, and Inon Zur, composer of Dragon Age: Origins, Fallout 3 Y Crysis.
For its part, this conglomerate of great professionals of the environment is behind a product that, during the recent Gamescom, had the opportunity to participate in the event through a respective cinematic trailer. In it, for a little more than a minute, the team displayed the artistic and graphic power of their work to introduce us to the universe of adventure, thus entering the theme of alternation between periods that will characterize the project both playable and narrative.
And, for those who do not know what to expect from this trip, it is about a group RPG inspired by classics of the genre like Dragon Age: Origins, Neverwinter Nights 2 Y Baldur’s Gate, where we will be taken to a context of celtic culture from the hand of a combat system as tactical as innovative. The delivery will offer 6 main classes, 30 advanced classes Y more than 800 powers, so one of its banners will be the wide range of playable and customization possibilities that we will have for the creation of our avatars.
Finally, we inform that The Waylanders It has a planned launch for this year, with PC as its target platform. Finally, if you want to know more about the proposal of Gato Studio, we encourage you to enter the following link:
