Years ago it was unthinkable that players of various platforms, but little by little and with Microsoft and Nintendo pushing hard with this, today we can say that crossplay is a reality applicable to many games. Obviously, much remains to be done, but the willows are already set and Sony, which has been the most reluctant, already seems willing to include it.
Proof of this is that little by little we get to know more and more games with support. The last to join the car is Paladins: Champions of the Realm. The Hi-Rez game activates support this week via game update. Something they already announced on their roadmap.
Crossplay in Paladins between Xbox, PC, Switch and PS4
Today, Hi-Rez is incredibly excited to announce that the cross game with PlayStation 4 is now compatible with Paladins: Champions of the Realm, the first hero-shooter available on all major platforms, with cross-play enabled among all!
Hi-Rez has been working closely with Sony to make Paladins, SMITE and Realm Royale compatible with PS4 crossplay. Paladins will launch today along with its update, SMITE next week and Realm Royale in early October.
