How to block your WhatsApp with fingerprint so that nobody reads your conversations? elsalvadorgram
WhatsApp has activated a new option that allows greater privacy for our conversations. This is the blocking by means of our fingerprint, which prevents third parties from accessing our chat by manipulating, for some reason, our mobile device.
The fingerprint lock has been one of the most anticipated features by the users of the messaging service, WhatsApp. From version 2.19.221 for Android, it is possible to block access and we want to tell you how to activate it so that you protect your messages from now on.
It is worth mentioning that your phone must have a fingerprint reader to use this option.
The first thing you should do is enter the application, click on the three points that are located in the upper right of WhatsApp, and then look for the "Settings" option.
This will take you to a series of adjustment options, where you should look for the one that says "Account" and then "Privacy".
While in the "Privacy" menu, you will go to the bottom looking for where it says "Fingerprint lock". There you will have the option to activate the lock, select the way to behave, that is, if you want the application to ask for your fingerprint every time you enter WhatsApp or in intervals of 1 or 30 minutes.
Right there you can decide if you want to show the content of the messages in the notifications.
Once this is done, you can now take advantage of the benefit of extra security to prevent intruders from reading what you talk to your friends and family.
