WhatsApp finally added support for stickers. While social media platforms and other messaging apps have long supported stickers, WhatsApp has rejected this wish. And finally yes Added WhatsApp support for stickers.
Gone are the days when you only sent messages to people who used words. Now, you're expected to add emojis, GIFs, and stickers to liven up your boring conversation.
How to use stickers on WhatsApp
In a post on the WhatsApp Blog, WhatsApp explains how it wants to help people "express themselves with stickers". This is because, according to WhatsApp, "stickers help you share your feelings in a way that you can't always express in words."
To use stickers on WhatsApp:
- Open existing chat.
- Touch it sticker icon
- Touch it a plus icon to add a sticker pack.
- Touch it download it icon next to the sticker pack you want.
- Find and Touchez the sticker you want to send.
If you touch The time icon You can see the sticker you just used. And if you touch the star icon You can see your favorite stickers. WhatsApp starts with a self-made sticker pack, but a third-party sticker pack will appear soon.
The stickers are available on WhatsApp for Android and iOS. WhatsApp has stated that the label will be released "in the coming weeks". So if you still can't see the sticker icon, please try to update WhatsApp manually until the icon appears.
Not everyone appreciates the stickers
WhatsApp is right to add an option for people to send stickers to their friends. However, as is the case with emojis and GIFs, it's important to consider whether or not the person you're sending the message to will respect them. Or it can be muted or blocked.
WhatsApp is constantly adding new features, so it's only a matter of time before they add stickers.
