In recent months we have had some interesting tops. Last month it was Samsung's turn to give everything with the Galaxy Note 10. Then, last week, the iPhone 11 arrived at the hands of Apple. Now all eyes are on Mate 30Pro and the other versions as well. This Thursday Huawei will announce new smartphones emblematic. Leak will be covering Munich, but the event will also be broadcast worldwide via the Internet. Below you can see the broadcast:
As confirmed by Huawei itself, the press conference will focus on the Mate 30 but there will be more appetizers. Promotional imagery has already unveiled the Mate 30 and Mate 30Pro, the ultra-premium Mate 30 Porsche Design and the most economical Mate 30 Lite. However, Thursday will also be marked by the launch of Huawei Watch GT 2. Like its predecessor, it will leave out Google's Wear OS and bet on Huawei LiteOS.
Huawei's press conference starts one afternoon.
Briefly let's look at what will be presented at the event.
Huawei Mate 30Pro
Against recent leaks, the new images show a circular camera module at the rear, accompanied by a large ring. Inside is a 40 megapixel main sensor right from the start. Then we also have a new 40 megapixel movie camera. Also worth mentioning is an 8 megapixel sensor with 3x zoom and another Time-of-Flight to enhance bokeh images.
THE Huawei Mate 30Pro It also has a Xenon flash.
Already on the front are two cameras for selfies. The sensor is 32 megapixels and one of them is ultra-angular.
Just below is a huge 6.8 inch waterfall screen.
In fact, it has very curved ends on both sides. The refresh rate has not yet been revealed, but the panel can support a resolution of 2400 x 1176 pixels.
At the heart of the device should be the newly announced Kirin 990 5G. We should have 8 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.
Huawei Mate 30Pro runs Android 10 and EMUI 10, but without Google services. Also worth mentioning is a huge 4,500 mAh battery combined with 40W SuperCharge and 27W SuperWirelessCharge technologies.
It also has an on-screen fingerprint reader for the Mate 30Pro.
A standard version with several capital gains
The Huawei Mate 30, similar to the Pro version, adopts a circular camera module at the rear where there are also four sensors. However, they should be lower than the Pro version.
The differences continue when we look at the front of the smartphone.
To reduce costs, the Huawei Mate 30 drops the waterfall screen in favor of a flat panel combined with a small single mirror. The latter has two selfie cameras, but bypasses the 3D face recognition system.
This particular device also supports 5G networks and therefore must be powered by the Kirin 990 5G along with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. It all adds up to Android 10 and EMUI 10, without the Google apps.
Huawei Mate 30 Porsche Design
The next generation Porsche Design will likely be almost identical to the Mate 30 Pro in terms of hardware. In fact, the only big difference will probably be the memory and storage configuration. This will have 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.
Following in the footsteps of previous Porsche Design models, this year's device will have a leather back panel with a glass strip in the middle.
It houses the quad camera configuration, the Leica brand, the Porsche Design logo and the Huawei name.
A very attractive Lite version
This bet is for those who do not want to spend so much money on a smartphone. It's basically a Nova 5i Pro with another name. Includes a 6.3 inch screen and should arrive with Android 10 and EMUI 10.
Like last year's Mate 20 range, the Mate 30 Lite will have a square camera module.
But this time, a total of four sensors is expected.
including a 48 megapixel main camera, an ultra wide angle 8 camera, a dedicated 2 megapixel macro camera and a 2 megapixel depth sensor.
Other features include support for 4G LTE networks, a 4,000 mAh battery and the Kirin 810 chipset. Compares to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 730.
