The HTC Wildfire has risen, or perhaps rather its name, because little or nothing has to do with this new modern terminal presented in India with the original HTC Wildfire. Its reissue is an input / media range terminal with an adjusted price.
The HTC Wildfire X is in theory one of the versions that are yet to come, at the moment the most powerful we have seen. It stands out for its triple rear camera and a great prominence of its screen, which reaches 88.8% of the front but has HD + resolution.

The comparisons with the HTC Wildfire of 2011 would be irrelevant, because for many laps that we give you we find nothing in what they look like except that, yes, they are Android phones manufactured by the same brand. This HTC Wildfire X it looks more like the economic models launched by the competition like Realme, Xiaomi, OPPO or even Samsung with its latest wave of Galaxy To and Galaxy M.
We have a colorful and modern design, with texture in the back and construction that we assume is plastic. On its back there is room for the rear fingerprint reader as for the camera, composed of three lenses.
It is a main lens of 12 MP, a telephoto of 8 MP and a lens to calculate the depth of 5 MP. We don't have all the details about opening or sensors, so we have to settle for knowing that it has the capacity to do 2x optical zoom.
A big screen
The second strong point of HTC Wildfire is on its screen, although it is a bit of lime and another of sand. On the one hand, official photos let us see that its edges are really thin, although here it is better to wait to see the terminal live and direct to make sure that it is not "the magic of the official photo".
Crowned by a V-shaped notch which hides an 8-megapixel front camera, the HTC Wildfire X is more or less the same as the Xiaomi Mi A3, 720 x 1520 resolution, or HD +, it falls a little short today.
A lot of storage
As for performance, we have the Helio P22 from MediaTek in charge of putting the muscle, which is accompanied by either 3 or 4 GB of RAM, depending on versions. More curious is the storage configuration, which goes from one extreme to another: the 3 GB version of RAM has 32 GB of storage, and the 4 GB rises to 128 GB, both LPDDR4x.
For its part, the battery has a capacity of 3,300 mAh, quite standard today, with 10W fast charging and USB connection. In connectivity there are few surprises, without mentioning the NFC, although FM radio.
