Huawei predicts in new study what will be technology trend in 2025

by Kelvin

The chinese Huawei recently released the new edition of the report Global Industry Vision (GIV), which aims to continue the predictions of technological and industrial development through the year 2025. Based on Huawei's own quantitative data, as well as real-world use cases on how smart technology is permeating all sectors, the report identifies 10 megatrends that currently shape the way people live and work.

The GIV also forecasts technology trends by 2025, including coverage 5Giimplantation of Artificial Intelligencel adoption of home robots and smart assistant usage rates. The 10 trends and examples of the main GIV predictions for 2025 are:

Live with Bots

Advances in material science, perceptual artificial intelligence, and networking technologies are driving the adoption of robotics in a variety of home and personal scenarios. The GIV predicts a global penetration rate of 14% of home robots.

The convergence of 5G, Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality, machine learning and other emerging technologies will allow us to see beyond distance, distortion, surface and history, opening new perspectives for people, business and culture. GIV predicts that the percentage of companies using Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality will increase to 10%.

Zero Search

As data-driven devices with integrated sensors begin to anticipate our needs, information will find us. Future research will be button free, personal social networks will be effortlessly created, and the industry will benefit from “zero search maintenance” (zero-search maintenance, in English). GIV predicts that 90% of smart device owners will use smart personal assistants.

Adapted Streets

Intelligent transportation systems will connect people, vehicles and infrastructure, creating zero congestion, rapid emergency response and other functions that will make life easier. GIV predicts that 15% of vehicles will have vehicle technology connected to everything via mobile network (Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything, in English)

Working with bots

Already transforming many industries, intelligent automation will take on more dangerous, repetitive, and high-precision tasks – a benefit to safety and productivity. The GIV predicts that there will be 103 robots in the industry for every 10,000 employees.

Increased Creativity

Cloud Artificial Intelligence will reduce the cost and barrier to entry for scientific experimentation, innovation and art, opening a goldmine of the creative potential that is available to everyone. GIV predicts that 97% of large companies will have deployed Artificial Intelligence.

Frictionless Communication

Artificial intelligence and big data analysis will create perfect communication between companies and customers, and break down language barriers. Accuracy, understanding and confidence will underpin tomorrow's communications. The GIV predicts that companies will use 86% of the data they produce.

Symbiotic Economy

Companies around the world are embracing digital technology and smart applications on unified access platforms. This means greater collaboration, resource sharing, stronger global ecosystems and higher productivity. GIV predicts that all businesses everywhere will use cloud technology and 85% of business applications will be cloud based.

5G Quick Launch

5G is here and it will be much faster than any previous wireless generation – the potential for individuals, businesses and society is enormous. The GIV predicts that 58% of the world's population will have access to 5G.

Digital Global Governance

Advances in digital technology must be balanced by shared data standards and principles for data use. The GIV forecasts the annual volume of global data to reach 180 ZB (1 ZB = 1 trillion GB).

“The rapid technological evolution will allow us to reach scenarios that we only imagined in science fiction films. We are directing our vision beyond what we see now and looking to the future, moving from innovation to invention. In some countries we have already seen changes in life, work and society as industries embrace Artificial Intelligence, 5G, cloud computing and other emerging technologies. ”, analyzes Julio Sgarbi, Huawei Brazil Consulting Director. "Huawei will participate in this invention by leveraging 5G, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud and other emerging technologies, offering all people, homes and organizations a bright future, as well as the benefits of new growth opportunities."
