As we had indicated a few days ago, today Monday, June 24, the release of the Beta 2 of iOS 7 was expected and finally it has been. Apple, complying with all forecasts, has recently released this new version with several new features.
IOS 7 Beta 2 finally arrives for iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and iPad mini
This new update is a preparation for the expected final version of version 7 of the mobile operating system of Apple. That version, iOS 7 beta 2, contains various bug fixes and can be installed by all developers via OTA (Over The Air), that is, through the same device if the previous version is already installed, it can also be done through iTunes or even from the developer portal of Apple.
If we perform the update directly from the device, that is, through OTA, the update will take up 237 Mb at iPhone 5, 206 Mb in Iphone 4s Y 165 Mb at Iphone 4.
To access the update through the same device we will have to access the following route:
Settings > general > Software update
If you want to update via iTunes, you have to follow the following steps:
- Connect the device to iTunes
- Select it in the left sidebar
- Click on Search software update
- iTunes will report that a software update is available
- Confirm the update
Note: We recommend you to make a backup before updating
If you are not a developer but you installed iOS 7 beta 1 on your device, you can update by following the steps outlined above.
