The names of the three variants of the iPhone 11 were confirmed by an internal document a few days from the Keynote ofApple. The document also reveals information on iOS 13 and the release dates of new iPhone but also two new iPad.
We are now less than a week from the traditional Keynote ofApple and a shower of leaks says a lot about what the Cupertino company has in store for us. The latest is an internal document of 10 pages intended for employees of the company. It confirms the Bloomberg information of a few days ago, namely that the three models this year will be named iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max, but that's not all.
iPhone 11: an internal document reveals a slew of information before the Keynote
Internally, iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max from 2019 respectively bear the code names N104, D42 and D43. The entry-level model is the iPhone 11, a first Benchmark informs us that it will ship 4 GB of RAM. Each of these three iPhone would ship iOS 13.1 which beta has been available for only last week. However, it seems that this version will not be pre-installed on the first copies delivered since the same document says that a security patch designated as iOS 13.0.1 will be deployed in OTA from October.
The document also announces the release of the iPhone 11 for September 27. As for the stable version of iOS 13, it will begin to be deployed on the old iPhone four days earlier, September 23. macOS 10.15 Catalina will be available the same date alongside iOS 13, iPadOS 13, watchOS 6 but also tvOS 13.
iPad and Apple Watch : new models expected in the coming weeks
As in previous years, theApple Watch will not miss this fall appointment. The document announces four variants for the new version whose respective code names are A2156, A2157, A2092 and A2093. The sleep tracking is one of the expected novelties on the news Apple Watch. They will be launched under WatchOS 6 and will receive WatchOS 6.1 in October.
Finally, Apple will also unveil two new iPads identified under the codenames A2068 and A2198. Their release date would be in the course of October and Apple could organize a separate event dedicated to their presentation as was the case for the iPad Pro 2018. The document suggests that the A2068 will be an entry-level iPad, while the A2198 will be the real successor to the iPad Pro. Both will be launched with iPadOS 13 pending a stable version of iPadOS 13.0.1.
