Nintendo today announced a new date for the release of Mario Kart Tour, version of the Japanese company's classic console racing game, which will run on smartphones Android and iPhone. The current forecast is to hand over the title to the players on September 25 this year, six months after the initial promise.
The game was announced in February of this year, when Nintendo set the release date sometime between April and March 2019. The period passed and the company said it needed more time, which seems to have been well taken advantage of. Now the new date is set for next month and the trailer that was released next day is very promising.
Another news is that the Mario Kart Tour is already pre-registered on the Play Store for Androids and the App Store on iPhones, even for Brazil – as Dr. Mario World has already been released in the United States and nothing to get here. In the store description, Nintendo says the game will feature real city clues as well as some franchise clues.
Gameplay will be done with just one finger, with the go kart riding alone and in a style that can be similar to that of Asphalt 9. Finally, the game will be free to try, but there is still no information about the value of the full title. In Super Mario Run, which works the same way, the first world can be played almost entirely and free of charge, with $ 37.90 in a single purchase that frees up all the other stages.
