While still working on the Chromium-based version, Microsoft Edge has received major news in its iOS app. According to some users, the browser now Supports text reading aloud.
As we know, this feature is already present in versions for Windows 10 and Mac being one great accessibility option. So by bringing the functionality to the mobile version, Edge becomes a fuller browser for special people.
However, according to Microsoft itself, the feature on iOS will only be available for english texts. Therefore, it may take a while for the company to enable support for Portuguese.
see the statement issued by the giant of Redmond:
Thank you for using Microsoft Edge! Reading aloud (English pages only) is available with this update. This release also includes general bug fixes and performance improvements.
Remember that in the PC version, Microsoft Edge already supports reading text in Portuguese. In addition, the browser has also recently received a feature designed to combat the fearsome Fake News.
