Capcom has announced that Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will be available on the console starting September 6. The company has not announced the release date of the PCs, until now. We now know that the expansion will hit the PC early next year.
PCGamesN reports that Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is coming to PC in January of next year. But it's rather unfortunate that Capcom hasn't announced a specific date for its release. That said, the publisher is likely to announce the exact date closest to the launch month.
The basic game, Monster Hunter: World, was announced for the console in January 2018, along with the PS4 special edition. The PC version of the game only came eight months later, in August. Considering the launch gap for core games, the Iceborne expansion doesn't seem like a devious wait.
Since the initial announcement, Capcom has revealed a wealth of new content for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. This includes a host of returning monsters, as well as new monster subspecies that were introduced in Monster Hunter: World.
