Four years ago, the launch of one of Netflix's most successful series, such as Narcos, is the one that features Pablo Escobar, the sadly famous drug trafficker of the Medellín cartel cartel.
Now we have the new adaptation of the video game inspired by the series that will be called 'Narcos: Rise of the Cartels' which, as you can imagine, is based on the life of Pablo Escobar and all the way he went to become the drug dealer most sought after in the world.
The game will take us to great battles that will have a turn-based strategy system, very similar to what is seen in ‘XCOM’ or ‘Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden‘. At the moment, the video game does not have an official release date but it is known that it will be during the autumn months and will be exclusive to PS4.
"Narcos: Rise of the Cartels" is a very exciting game for us. We love the series and we have made sure that our game stays true to the original, from locations to characters, clothes, iconic music, etc. I think the brutal turn-based strategy game goes like a ring to the world of Narcos. ‘Narcos: Rise or the Cartels’ offers players the experience of being an agent of the Drug Enforcement Agency or a leader of the Cartel. Living the frantic action of being the hunter or the hunted, players can delve into the minutiae of each operation, which is what the series really is about. ”
Although we do not have the official release date of the title, we do have the trailer of the expected game that is sure to penetrate very well among fans of the popular Netflix series.
