Chinese smartphone maker Oppo launched its K Series of the smartphone in China last year in October. The Oppo K1 was the first smartphone in the K Series. It was very first mid-range smartphone to feature In Display FPS. In the start of 2019 Oppo brings K1 to the Indian market with a price tag of 16,990 rupees. The Oppo K1 was a decent smartphone but because of late launch, It was not able to sell a higher number of quantities.
In May this year, Oppo K3 was launched as a successor of K1 in China. It has Pop-Up Selfie camera in the mid-range segment. Last week Amazon India started teasing the launch of a new Oppo smartphone with features like Vooc Charge 3.0, Full-Screen Display. It was easy to guess that Oppo will bring K3 to India but It was not officially announced yet. Today Oppo has officially announced the launch date of Oppo K3 in India. On the landing of K3, It can be seen that Oppo will hold an event on 19th July to launch this smartphone.
Talking about some of the specifications of Oppo K3, It has a 16MP Pop-Up selfie camera. With the virtue of this pop-up camera mechanism, K3 has no very minimal bezels on the top. The Display is a 6.5 Inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Panel. Like the last generation K1 which was having In Display FPS, Oppo K3 also has Under Display FPS Tech. It is powered by a Snapdragon 710 Processor coupled with 8GB Dual Channel LPDDR4X RAM and UFS2.1 Storage.
In the camera department, It has a Dual Rear camera set up featuring 16MP Primary shooter and 2MP depth sensor. The front camera as I mentioned earlier is a 16MP Snapper. It packs a 3765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 Charge support. The software side is handled by Color OS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie. The expected pricing of 8+128GB variant is around 20k INR.
