Sony's upcoming console – which has not been made official and will probably be called PlayStation 5 – may be getting closer to being announced. A recent patent, submitted for Brazilian government approval, revealed a possible design of the dev kit. The english portal LetsGoDigital, who discovered the patent and the possible design, rendered these concepts in 3D and gave us an idea of ββwhat the consoles developers will get to produce next-generation games.

Sony has not officially commented on the case, but it is interesting to note that the Brazilian government has confirmed that it received the concepts from SIE Japan, named after Sony's engineering director Yashuhiro Ootori, coincidentally the same creator of the PlayStation 4 design. Another relevant piece of information is that, according to US IGN, one of Codemasters employees confirms that this is the official dev kit.
This does not mean that this is the official concept of the PS5 and what will reach consumers. The gadgets that the developers receive are superior and contain more firepower than those that hit store shelves. The point worth noting is that there are already titles being produced for the next generation of consoles.
