For the moment only in India, but RealMe 5 is 5 Pro they are realities: the OPPO brand has just formalized two new medium range products (at least for the Indian market) and with an excellent photographic sector. Moreover, RealMe 5 also stands out as a battery phone with its 5000 mAh battery! Here are all the details on technical specifications and prices.
RealMe 5: specifications and prices
This is the least powerful of the two new mid-range models, with its display from 6.5 " IPS LCD type (with notch drop for 13MP selfie camera and HD + resolution) protected by Gorilla Glass 3. Under the shell is the Snapdragon 665 processor supported by 3 / 4GB of RAM and 32/64 / 128GB of internal storage. The operating system at launch is Android Pie under ColorOS 6 user interface.
On the back two details are immediately noticed: the fingerprint reader and the generous photographic sector. This consists of four sensors: one main from 12MP (with focal length f / 1.8), one of 8MP for wide-angle shots, one of 2MP for depth of field and – icing on the cake – a last of 2MP to make macros with focusing distance up to just 4cm. Unfortunately the sensor with optical zoom is missing.
One of the strengths of this device is undoubtedly energy autonomy: on board there is a battery from well 5000 mAh (with 10W quick charge system). Despite this, the weight is still sustainable: 198 grams. The selling price in India is very competitive even for the most powerful configuration (with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage): the range goes from around 125 € about 150 € at the exchange. In the event of launch on the international market, prices will certainly be higher.
RealMe 5 Pro: specifications and prices
The more powerful of the two models has an aesthetic appeal very similar to that of RealMe 5, but the details that change are several. The display is a panel from 6.3 " with drop notch for the selfie camera (from 16MP), but FHD + resolution and protection guaranteed by a Gorilla Glass 5. Under the shell is the processor Snpadragon 712 supported by 4/6 / 8GB of RAM and 64 / 128GB of internal storage. Also in this case, the operating system at launch is Android Pie under ColorOS 6 user interface.
On the rear, in addition to the fingerprint reader, the photographic sector stands out, which on the Pro version is more powerful as regards the main chamber: we are in front of a sensor Sony IMX586 48MP. For the rest, even on RealMe 5 Pro there is no optical zoom (which with a 48MP as the primary sensor is a compromise to which you can descend).
The battery of this device is a lot less good with its "only" 4035 mAh, which can be recharged with the ultra-fast system VOOC 3.0. As for the prices of sale, in this case the configurations of RAM / internal storage on the market will be three (4 / 64GB, 6 / 64GB and 8 / 128GB). The price range will range from around € 176 to around € 210 at the exchange rate in India.
