Realme is at work at an event in China for the official launch of a new mobile device, which should stage a model made for the Asian market of the higher version of the Realme XT, recently presented in India but not yet on the online and offline shelves. It is, specifically, the Realme X2 and the date set for the announcement is 24 September.
Realme X2: 64MP camera
The new terminal of the Chinese house should boast a quadruple configuration from 64 MP of the rear cameras and, in a report that emerged a few hours ago, Realme confirmed that the X2 will arrive with a 32 MP front selfie camera. On the back, therefore, we will find the same photographic layout of Realme XT, although it is not known exactly if it is the same 64 MP lens, namely the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1.
The company – which began as a rib of OPPO – also shared a poster on the Chinese social network Weibo, which shows the rear design of Realme X2 which, as you can see, is similar to that of Realme XT.
The details on X2 are scarce at the moment, but the latest rumors suggest that it is XT based on Snapdragon 730G of which Realme spoke last week, also citing support VOOC 30W Flash Charge for fast charging.
Other rumors, unconfirmed, reported that the phone will have a 6.4 ″ AMOLED display with FHD + resolution (1,080 x 2,340 pixels). Under the hood we should find, in fact, Snapdragon 730, octa-core processor with a maximum frequency of 2.2 GHz, associated with 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal storage, expandable with the help of a microSD card. It should also be present scanner of fingerprints in the display and boast a large battery from 4,000 mAh. The Realme X2 should mount the operating system based on Android 9 Pie.
No details, at the moment, about the possible European commercialization of the device: Italy, for now, is waiting for updates on the matter.
