Nowadays, choosing a mobile phone is more complicated than buying (well, renting) a house. The options are so many and so good, that it is impossible to be clear about first. Unless you are a diehard fan of a specific brand, as is the case with fans of Apple, Samsung and more and more Huawei, and you are only interested in their products, the rest of the population is divided into endless brands with very similar characteristics. When we seemed to have seen everything, Xiaomi arrived and showed us that the mantra of "more for less"it is possible to apply it also in the sector of smartphones. Later, its subsidiary, Redmi, still squeezed this formula a little more. It seemed that it was impossible to reach its level of value for money, until Realme arrived and the war broke out.
If Redmi captivated us all with his Redmi Note 8 Pro 64MP, Realme has responded a few days later by offering the same quality and the same rear cameras, four, in its new Really XT. And the rest of the features? Let's see them:
AMOLED screen to leave no doubt about its quality
Is there a cat locked up? It is what many think when seeing these excessively cheap mobiles. Apart from the fact that the materials are not premium, as you would expect, in regards to the terminal itself all cats are free. And the perfect example of this we see in the AMOLED screen of Realme XT, 6.4 inches and FullHD + resolution.
We can enjoy Realme XT both in white (the one on the cover) and in blue. Really
The notch is maintained. No shark fins or retractable cameras. But nevertheless, the notch will have a 'V' shape, and from Realme they promise that it will have a minimal impact on the screen and that the use of it will be very high. The fingerprint reader is incorporated into the screen itself, so no unnecessary gaps in the back, where we will only have the quad camera, which we will discuss next.
Four cameras to capture everything
Like the Redmi Note 8 Pro, the main strength of Realme XT is in the photographic section, with four lenses that complement each other perfectly, commanded by the expected 64MP of the principal. The four cameras are:
- Samsung GW1 main sensor with 64MP lens and f / 1.8 aperture
- Super wide angle 8MP with aperture f / 2.25 and 119º
- 2MP bokeh depth sensor
- 2MP macro photography camera
The middle range thus presents a higher quality in the photographic section. Having a mobile phone with a poor camera now seems almost impossible. The front is not far behind, a sensor Sony IMX471 with 16 megapixels and f / 2.0 aperture.
The photographic section is very careful in this Realme XT. Really
A good interior to avoid any setback
If the Redmi Note 8 Pro was entrusted to Mediatek to manage its engine room, the Realme XT has gone for sure when betting on Qualcomm. But not for any Qualcomm, but the Snapdragon 712, of the best in super middle range. Next to him, we will have Andreno 616 GPU and up to three different memory versions.
- 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage
- 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage
- 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage
The three storage versions have the possibility of increase up to 256GB capacity through microSD.
There will be no problems either in its autonomy. 4,000 mAh and 20W fast charge It's all we need to be sure in this area. As for autonomy, it has USB-C, dual 4G, Bluetooth 5, WiFi 5, GPS and GLONASS. The operating system is Android 9 with Color OS 6.0 interface, although we will surely see the jump to Android 10 soon.
