The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) has provided new instructions for using the e-Titulo application in the 2020 Elections in cities that will have a second round. The election will be held this Sunday (29).
According to the TSE, anyone wishing to use e-Título as an identification document, a justification tool or a service indicating the zone and electoral section must download and install the app by 23 hours and 59 minutes on Saturday (28). After that time, it will still be in the Android and iOS digital stores, but the registration of new voters will be blocked.
The reason is to avoid overloading the systems and any problems in using the application, which requires prior registration based on the voter’s personal data and includes fields such as justification for not voting — although this function is also having problems, charging undue fines of some users.
In #Eleições2020, vote consciously and safely!
?? Download the e-Titulo app until 23:59 on Saturday (11/28);
??? Use your own pen to sign the voting book;
?? Take the candidate’s or candidate’s number written down;
?? Always wear a mask.

In the first round, e-Título had several flaws for some users, mainly among those who left the download to the last hour and needed to register the user before going out to vote. According to the president of the TSE, Luís Roberto Barroso, the high demand for registrations was what led to server errors.
Anyone who has uninstalled the app must also download it again in advance and verify that the account is properly logged in.
