Samsung Galaxy Active Watch 2 is almost here, and you'll get new key features to help you rival Apple Watch Four.
Samsung announced at IFA 2019 that the latest smartwatches will show compatibility with Technogym treadmills, which means you can run and run indoors and receive accurate health information on your wrist.
This is the key to many fitness bodies, as usual when you run on a treadmill, you must rely on an inaccurate accelerometer on the watch to guess how far and how fast you run, just based on your height.
By syncing smarter treadmills with Active Watch 2 you – maybe a Touchez using NFC to make a Bluetooth connection, with the same tone as you Apple Watch – Users will get much more accurate fitness data and be able to take better workout photos.
What does it really offer?
We are still waiting for more information beyond confirmation on the Samsung stage that Technogym support is coming; We don't know if it will appear on longer clocks, it is possible to sync with other exercise equipment, such as steppers or static cycles, and how many gyms are configured to support this feature.
If it's like a similar integration on the Internet Apple Watch, a simple swipe is connected to the exercise machine (although you still need to confirm your workout) even if it's started, so you can start tracking sweet and sweet data on your wrist.
AppleDpt is used to support many Technogym cardog machines, but not the current weight – it will be interesting to see if Samsung can move forward here and offer wider integration with all Technogym equipment.
We'll provide you with more information when we get it from Samsung and Technogym, but this is a real benefit for the South Korean brand that you can wear because you are looking to add more features to appeal to a wider audience.
