Samsung has finally relaunched the Galaxy Fold which is like saying your first folding smartphone. Please note that this device was originally introduced in February this year with release scheduled for April. However, the release was delayed by Samsung after several issues were discovered. Now this folding smartphone is officially on the market, but with some improvements in design and construction.
Samsung Galaxy Fold: repetition really makes perfect!
Despite smart modifications, the overall design of the Galaxy Fold remains the same as the original version. So we have a 7.3-inch Infinity Flex display inside and a 4.6-inch Super AMOLED display on the outside. However, Samsung reveals that it has corrected the hinge and protective layer of the flexible display.
Thus, the folding mechanism is now hidden behind a protective rubber layer to protect it from dust and other particles that may enter the mechanism through the folding part. Samsung has also widened the top layer that protects the screen from scratches so that it cannot be removed accidentally.
Camera and other hardware level configuration remain unchanged. That said, the Samsung Galaxy Fold owns a total of six cameras. However, it is powered by a Snapdragon 855 chipset, along with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
Ensuring operation is a 4,380 mAh battery. However, the 5G model has a 4.235mAh battery. That is a bit smaller due to the internal architecture.
O Galaxy Fold will go on sale for the first time tomorrow in South Korea. Later this smartphone will reach select countries including France, Germany, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States. The price has not been disclosed, but is expected to be around 2,000 Euros.
Looking at the corrections that have been made, it seems that everything is set for an interesting release and this time just has everything to go well.
However, to make everything go well, Samsung decided to make the hands-on itself. The video is below:
