THE Samsung would be working on creating an input smart speaker driven by the artificial intelligence virtual assistant Bixby. The gadget would look a lot like the top of the line Galaxy Home, but less features to lower its price.
The information comes from the Sam Mobile website, which does not specify how the South Korean manufacturer intends to reduce device costs. Nevertheless, it's easy to bet that it won't have the same 6 built-in subwoofer speakers and 8 microphones that its most expensive brother brings.
Also according to the news, this new product would have serial number SM-V310 – the of Galaxy Home is SM-V510. This may suggest that we will have more smart Bixby speakers in the future, with room for both more expensive and cheaper models.
Remember that Samsung officially presented the Galaxy Home in August 2018, but the gadget is not yet available for purchase in the market. Since then, the company has revealed very little about the device.
Samsung's incoming speaker is expected to be officially unveiled during CES 2019.
