IFA 2019 is coming and, as always, technology companies are expected to unveil their latest innovative products. Sharp announced it would unveil what it claims to be the world's largest 8K smart television at IFA Berlin. The Japanese company did not disclose the name of the product, but indicated that it will be present at IFA from September 6-11. The smart TV will feature a 120 inch screen with 8K resolution. The company also announced that it would launch a 5G TV also with 8K resolution. Details of the gigantic 8K and 5G 8K TV were not revealed. But we expect the 5G TV to come with a 5G baseband. The TV is designed for use during public exhibitions such as museums and schools. The TV can remotely display extremely sharp videos and images of artwork. The exact size of the 5G TV has not been disclosed, but it can stream 8K HDR content. Sharp hopes to build an 8K + 5G ecosystem that can stream ultra-clear video and photos to end users over 5G networks or send them to the Internet. High-end 8K ultra-clear video transmission requires at least 512 Gbps of ultra high bandwidth and only 5G can deliver that kind of speed. We will bring more details about the products when they are revealed.
