Pablo Cimadevila entertains millions of viewers on his YouTubeChannel with the production of gold jewelry and other gems. In a new video, Cimadevila is dedicated to Apple's AirPods: he replaces the white plastic case with 18-carat gold in an elaborate process. From the plastic parts of the housing he creates his own mold. He then brings the solidified gold to a high gloss. In the end, the AirPods actually work (still) – and can really be seen. The accessories shown in the spot, however, you can in any Apple Store of the World, notes MacRumors. However, after this spot it does not seem quite so unlikely that Apple even presents its own case made of leather or silicone for the wireless headphones – perhaps already at the iPhone event on 10 September.
