Sony remained quite quiet this year. It highlights his absence in the last E3 and the lack of news about the expected games The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima, in addition to news about the PS5 when Microsoft already advanced its next Xbox under the name Project Scarlett. Luckily, if the following rumors were true, Sony would arrive with news shortly.
As the user is Towj of 4Chan, the next State of Play event would be November 1 and would be focused on 3 games: Death Stranding, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and The Last of Us Part II. Apparently, at the event we would have a final Death Stranding trailer and announce that The Last of Us Part II will be released on May 20, 2020. Ghost of Tsushima would not participate in this event since The game would be being polished for a cross-gen release for PlayStation 5.
Speaking of the PS5, this user states that The console would be revealed in a PlayStation Meeting planned for February 12, 2020. He also said that developers such as Activision, Ubisoft and EA are already invited to this event to showcase their next generation games.
Considering where the rumors come from, we recommend not giving them too much credibility. Even so, this possible information is more than interesting to analyze.
