Beenox has announced through the playstation blog the new crossover between Crash and Spyro, two of Activision's great pets (before Sony) gathered to run with go-karts on theme tracks. Spyro had a remake of his three most important installments as well as Crash so this collaboration is quite logical.
Spyro will not arrive alone, of course, so will Hunter and Gnorc, two of the characters in this franchise, as well as come with a new circuit inspired by different levels of the Spyro trilogy. Apparently it will be a very long track that will use portals to lengthen and, as if that were not enough, it will be the perfect place to release the new karts of Spyro and Gnorc.
A thematic expansion
All this will come when Spyro & Friends Grand Prix is released to Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled this August 30, remember that these Grand Prix would be the famous seasons of other games, they work the same way. Beginning August 30, new challenges and ways to unlock characters, go-karts and other cosmetic elements will come to change Spyro's appearance.
Players come to play Spyro: Reignited Trilogy will feel at ease on the new track that passes through locations such as High Caves, Wizard Peak or Artisans Homeworld. In addition, the boxes will be replaced by the typical Spyro chests, as well as the fruits we get along the way that will become gems, all very thematic of the game originally developed by Insomniac Games.
For its part, the trailer of the Grand Prix let us see the model of the characters in the game, it is basically the same as we saw in the remake last year so there are no complaints in this regard. We could also see the new cars that we will have to unlock by winning races.
The reaction has been positive on the part of the players, although many expected other characters like Bianca to be added as well. Both games are from Activision so it looks like they will be added over time. Spyro and company will arrive at Crash Team Racing Niro-Fueled on August 30.
