Telegram now allows unlimited live streams and more; check out

Last Tuesday (31), Telegram was updated to version 8.0 and brought a series of news to users. Among the new features are unlimited live streams, more chat interface themes and new ways to share messages.

unlimited transmissions

From now on, the messenger will no longer limit the maximum number of people who can watch a live stream. Before, the app only allowed 1,000 viewers.

In addition, you will be able to share your smartphone screen during the broadcast and choose whether you prefer to conduct the conference with video or just voice. Listeners can “raise their hand” to signal that they want to speak, a feature similar to the Clubhouse.

Another updated feature was the message sharing option. Users will now be able to hide the name of the person who submitted it. Just press the message and choose the option “hide sender’s name”.

Dynamic navigation between groups

To check all channels, the user will no longer need to go back to the home page. With the update, just drag down to the end of recent conversations to open the next channel with unread messages. The messenger has added a dedicated button exclusively for this, helping channel admins have more control over all publications.

New look in conversations

About interface Mainly, the messenger now allows users to choose more options for customizing the balloon messages and the background of a conversation with color gradients and new animations.

The update also includes new arrangement of stickers — the most popular ones will appear before the ones used last — and now, instead of just “typing” in the status, the app will also show “choosing a sticker”.

Version 8.0 is available for iOS and Android. For full update details, visit the official Telegram blog.
