US construction company Tesla announced in Twitter the increase in energy provided by its chargers in Europe. From now on, the V2 Superchargers on the old continent will be able to deliver 150kW of power.
This is a significant increase from the 120kW hitherto supported by these chargers on this continent. This means you will be able to charge your Tesla battery faster at any of these stations.
With these values, just 20 minutes of charging will be enough to purchase 50% of battery life in a Model S. To fully recharge this model it takes 75 minutes.
Tesla has over 400 Superchargers spread across Europe
The builder led by Elon Musk has more than four hundred porters scattered across the old continent. They are all Superchargers V2, although the company has already announced its third generation.
These are capable of offering a range of 120 kilometers in just 5 minutes. Impressive numbers that, for now, are only available in the US. Eventually, Europe will also receive the same charging stations.
Where are Tesla Superchargers in Portugal located?
Tesla currently has six chargers available in Portugal. These are located in Alcácer do Sal, Alcantarilha, Fatima, Guarda, Montemor-o-Novo and Ribeira de Pena.
For the future it is planned to install six more Superchargers from north to south of the country. Thus the US company will extend its charging network to its electric cars.
