Do you remember the Vivo Nex S, also known as the first camera phone pop up What appears from the side of the equipment when required? Well, one of the main advantages of that design is that it eliminates the famous notch and to the most recent holes from the front panel. That same format is what – according to rumors – would take Samsung for its A90, a team that should see the light during the second half of the year.
So advanced is this rumor that even a digital design appeared that could give us an idea of what it would look like, where we can also see that the team would carry a fingerprint reader inside the screen, triple rear camera and dedicated button for Bixby.
The assumption Galaxy A90 would have the pop-up camera mechanism in the center of the upper edge of the equipment, which would facilitate the way to manipulate it for vertical and horizontal selfies.
Another issue to consider of the A90 – and in general, of all teams with pop-up cameras – is that they have no resistance to water or dust, somewhat uncomfortable considering that this has become a desired feature in the middle and high range, and that among other things it could cause problems in the mechanism that supports the front camera if it is not used with care. The same applies to twists that can receive the piece and that they can damage it irreversibly.
Vivo is also planning a new phone with pop-up camera, the V15 Pro. It will also have triple camera and protruding front, fingerprint reader integrated to the screen, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory.
Do you like the idea of the pop-up camera or are you used to living with the Notch?
