LG will be present at the next IFA 2019, and everything begins to point out that they will do it in the hands of new terminals. Recently, the firm unveiled a new device with double screen, which will be presented on September 6 at the fair mentioned above.
From the hand of this terminal could come the LG G8X, a new smartphone that we have new information through an exclusive of OnLeaks and Pricebaba. The terminal would be a restrained size flaghsip, with headphone jack and fingerprint reader under the screen.
A new high-end in the LG catalog
The first thing that let us see the images and the video is a front in which a drop shaped notch chair the top of the phone. The upper and lower bezels do not seem to be fully exploited, but the design lines that have many current alternatives are followed.
The LG G8S would be the first bet of the South Korean firm for the fingerprint reader under the screen in its high range
The fingerprint reader would place the fingerprint reader under the screen, a technology that, so far, LG had not dared to implement in its high range. This screen would have a size of 6.2 inches with OLED technology, relatively small considering the sizes that are beginning to have some phones. The resolution of the same is unknown, so there are doubts about whether it will be FHD + or QHD +.
At the rear of the terminal there is a double camera, next to an LED flash. The finish of it would be in glass, with a slight curvature to improve grip. If we look at it from below, we can see a speaker, the USB Type-C port, and a headphone jack (Rare avis in the times that run).
As for the raw power, a Qualcomm Snadpragon 855 is expected, with no news on the amount of RAM and internal storage. There remain the doubts about what role this LG G8X comes to fulfill, with a smaller number of cameras compared to the LG G8S, and some characteristics that do not seem to be superior to those of the same. It is expected in the framework of IFA 2019, so we will leave doubts in a few weeks.
