The CNMC has already made public the official data on portability and net profit of lines corresponding to the month of June 2019. On this occasion, the sixth month of the year has left us almost 112,000 new fiber accesses, which means that, in interannual terms, the FTTH has grown by 1.8 million lines, while DSL technology has lost 1.3 million.
As for mobile portability, during June they reached 553,000, but they fell almost 6% compared to the same month last year. Only the MásMóvil Group and the OMV registered positive net portability balances, compared to the negative balances obtained by Movistar, Vodafone and Orange.
The big three lose more customers than they receive

According to CNMC data, in June there were a total of 553,680 portabilities, which is almost 6% less than in the same month of 2018. The MásMóvil Group and the OMV recorded positive net portability balances, with 29,094 and 42,827 lines, respectively. Orange, Vodafone and Movistar, on the other hand, presented negative balances and exported 21,090, 38,024 and 12,807 numbers more than they received from other operators.

The mobile line park won 56,855 lines in June, so that the sixth month of the year closed with a total of 53.76 million, which translates into an increase of 1.7% year-on-year. In this period, the three main operators accounted for 78.6% of the total mobile lines in the market.
In addition, of that total mobile lines (53.76 million), almost 84% of voice lines had mobile broadband: 45.08 million. The three main operators (Movistar, Orange and Vodafone) concentrate the majority by adding almost 8 out of 10 voice lines with mobile broadband.

The fiber to the home (known as FTTH) continues its growth and has remained very close to 9.4 million lines in the month of June. Specifically, the monthly growth was 111,856 new fiber accesses, to the detriment of the DSL lines, that one more month have come down again. Of the total fiber lines, 44.2% corresponded to Movistar, which already has 4.1 million FTTH lines.

In interannual terms compared to June 2018, the FTTH increased by 1.8 million lines, facing the loss of 1.3 million lines with DSL technology. The three main operators, Movistar, Orange (including Jazztel) and Vodafone (including Ono) already account for 87.5% of the total lines.

As for wholesale fixed broadband, the indirect access service NEBA (FTTH and copper) lost 1,741 lines and accumulates 821,877 lines, of which 739,674 are fiber; the rest of indirect access services (ATM and IP concentration) also decreased by 19,992 lines. The month of June ended with 1,123,763 local NEBA lines.
Finally, with regard to fixed telephony, during the month of June the total fixed lines decreased by 14,068 lines and closed with a total of 19,309,024. They also occurred 145,476 fixed number portabilities, almost 16% less than in the same month of the previous year.
