On the date 15 In October there will be a new piece of smart clothing from Google Project Jacquard on the streets. This is the CIT-E canvas backpack with Google Jacquard, and launched by Yves Saint Laurent, also known as YSL, or simply Saint Laurent, a high-end fashion brand. This smart backpack will be purchased by the user at a price of around 795 euros (around $ 876 USD).
To start using the CIT-E backpack, users must download the Jacquard app from the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android) Labels are included in the package with each backpack before purchase. The tag is required to pair with the backpack – the phone will pair with the tag and the tag must be inserted into the backpack after pairing with the phone.
Above you will see a tag, a USB cable (to fill the tag), a bag, and a tag attached to the bag.
All the electronic functions of the backpack are inside the left shoulder strap of the bag. The strap has touch sensitive technology inside and responds to four movements. Each movement signals the connected phone to respond: play new audio tracks, decrease the volume of audio being spoken, and more.
Users can brush the rope or brush the rope. You will see this move in the illustration above via the official backpack user guide. Below you will see additional illustrations showing the "double Touchez" and "close" movements.
The tag will remain in the bag until (at some point) it loses battery power (at which point it can be charged with the included microUSB cable). This label is rain and splash resistant, but "not completely waterproof." The bag user guide document states that the label should "avoid submerging" the label in water.
The circular element on the left strap also has the ability to send personalized notifications from the phone. This bag will be the first "Jacquard by Google" technology product offered outside the United States.
This backpack has a width of 31 cm, a height of 41 cm and a depth of 22 cm. This was done by YSL in collaboration with Jacquard by Google. This will come in black, and the estimated delivery date is listed as "last" October 15, 2019. This backpack is available for pre-order on the YSL store website and (for now) is exclusive to Saint Laurent Rive Droite .
