Xiaomi has always been ahead of most of its competition when it comes to fast charging. But until now, its most advanced technologies in this area have been reserved for premium models. The good news is that this could change with the arrival of the Redmi series. Note 11.

As a reminder, the Redmi Note are smartphones mid-range and generally they are among the most popular models from Xiaomi (or even on the market). According to an article published by Android Authority, Xiaomi should present its new Redmi series Note 11 in China as of October. And while we await this official presentation, Xiaomi has already started to tease Weibo, the Chinese social network.

100% in 17 minutes

And obviously, a model of this new series will benefit from Xiaomi’s 120 W fast charging technology. This is what would be suggested by one of the teasers published by the brand.

With this fast charging, this smartphone would ridicule most other devices on Android, as well as iPhones. This technology is available on some high-end devices from Xiaomi. On the Xiaomi 11T Pro, for example, the battery goes from 0% to 100% in just 17 minutes.

Unfortunately, it is not certain that the fast charging at 120W is for the Redmi. Note 11 Pro. Indeed, as Android Authority notes, Xiaomi could also offer a Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus, and it would be possible that 120W charging is reserved for this Pro Plus model, which is expected to be the most expensive model.

Once again, Redmi could hit hard

Anyway, the next Redmi Note should be very interesting. The Redmi Note 11 could have an AMOLED type display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, JBL branded speakers, support for Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, as well as NFC.

Details are expected to be known after the presentation in China on October 28. Unfortunately, it is not yet clear when Xiaomi will launch these models in Europe.
