In a new analytics report Apple Ming-Chi Kuo claims that the iPhone 2021 will have not only a Face ID, but also a Touch ID.
In a note published on August 5, Kuo predicts that after 2 years, the iPhone lineup will include a sub-screen ultrasound fingerprint scanner. The proposed provider of this technology will be Qualcomm.
At the moment, four factors impede the implementation of Touch ID in apple gadgets: module thickness, small area of ββthe sensitive area, power consumption and the speed of production of multilayer coatings. According to Kuo, all limiting factors Apple able to eliminate by 2021.
There is also the possibility of an optical scanner returning to the iPhone. However, according to Kuo, such an option is unlikely. Thus, the combination of the two security systems Touch ID and Face ID will reduce the risk of hacking the "apple" gadget to a minimum.
