A new interesting movie released by a well-known youtuber gives us the opportunity to look closely at the potential of others Vivo Nex 3 and, more particularly, its broad al curved waterfall display, the pop-up camera and 5G connectivity support.
Vivo Nex 3, display waterfall: the video
The video suggests that the first rumors on the phone with a "screen-body ratio of over 100%" may not find real practical confirmation, due to the presence of small frames on the top and bottom of the panel, but the capacity of the display around the sides of the device is still quite impressive. Vivo he even replaced the side power and volume buttons with virtual keys (probably better than those of the Apex 2019 concept), so as to favor this configuration and avoid the interference of the physical keys. At the end of the curved part there is a small non-slip plastic section that provides the right tactile sensation, necessary to understand when the finger is passing the touch sensitive part of the smartphone.
So there are no physical power and volume buttons, but it is not a completely “without doors” device like the Apex 2019 concept phone: at the top of the Vivo Nex 3 there are indeed a headphone jack and a secondary physical power button (to be used for example when it is necessary to force the device to stop), in addition to one pop-up selfie camera. The phone has two microphones in total (one at the top and one at the bottom) plus a single speaker at the bottom, next to what appears to be a USB-C port.
Other details for the moment have not yet been disclosed, nor with regard to the photographic sector, nor as regards other hardware features such as the processor, RAM or built-in memory. To find out more, we will have to wait for new revelations, official and otherwise, or better yet its presentation by the company which should not be so far away. At the moment, however, we do not yet have any certain date.
