In the series, Padalecki plays Cordell Walker, a law enforcement official who is also a father and husband. However, his wife dies and he has to take care of two teenage children.

The death of his wife, Emily, is unusual. In fact, she is mysteriously murdered. As if that wasn’t enough, even in the debut episode, Walker takes on a mission in which he will be away from the children for ten months.

After this period, he returns to Austin, Texas. The problem is that the things he saw while he was undercover changed the way the officer views the world. So he doesn’t run to see his daughters again. On the contrary: he decides to drink to forget everything that happened.

For him, the burden of work is still there and he would not want to visit his daughters while he is still haunted by the ghosts of the past. Soon, you can already see that walker it will be really full of drama!

When he finally returns home, he discovers that his father and mother have placed the teenagers in a Catholic school. In addition, Liam has also moved in to help with the kids.

Her daughter Stella is angry that her father has abandoned her for so long. So he will need to find a way to reconnect with the kids.

Meanwhile, at work, Walker discovers that Micki will be his new partner and Larry, who he used to work with, is now his boss. Your first job is to investigate a drug cartel. With that, Micki and Cordell’s journey begins.

The series walker it doesn’t leave social issues aside either. After all, Micki is a woman of Mexican and American descent, with a friend whose parents are afraid of being deported. So Cordell promises to talk to his contacts to expedite their legalization paperwork.

After the investigation, James suggests that Walker join a task force to end the drug cartel. However, he decides not to accept in order to build his family life again.

In addition to Jared Padalecki, the series’ cast also includes Jeff Pierre, Odette Annable, Coby Bell and Violet Brinson.
