Twenty-five – the new standard theme
WordPress 4.1 includes a new standard theme called Twenty Fifteen. It's a sleek, clean, but highly customizable blog theme. It is designed with a mobile first focus and looks great on all devices. Twenty Fifteen also provides improved support for internationalization using Google's Noto font family. The project in the Noto font family must support all languages and scripts supported by Unicode.
Twenty Fifteen is designed to maximize the use of the tools available in the Customizer. Users can fully customize the look of their Customizer theme. Twenty Fifteen also offers 6 Color Schemes to choose from.
Renewed and tapered distraction-free state
WordPress 4.1 has a new way of writing without distractions. Just click the editor button without distraction to get started. As soon as you start typing, all distractions are hidden on the screen.
The concept behind the new method of writing without distractions is that distractions on post-editor screens are actually very useful tools that users need when writing posts. In the previous version, these tools were removed and to access these tools, the user had to switch from one page to another.
The new free distraction editor simply hides the metaframes from the screen after editing. All meta boxes appear again as soon as you move the mouse or exit the Post Editor.
Online photo editing toolbar
Many WordPress beginners have trouble understanding how images fit in the post editor. WordPress 4.1 introduces a new online editing toolbar that allows users to easily adjust images without opening them in media editing.
Install the language pack and change the language in the administration area
If you didn't choose the language during installation, you can use WordPress 4.1 change the language General configuration Screen. Just select your language from the dropdown menu and WordPress will install the language pack for you.
4.1 WordPress will try to recommend plugins to try. Recommendations are based on what other plugins you have installed and what others are using. You can see the suggestions in Accessories »Add new Screen clicking recommended Heavy.
WordPress 4.1 offers some very interesting developments for developers.
Complex queries – Theme and plugin developers can now use advanced conditional logic, built-in tips, and multiple operators in their meta, date, and case queries.
title tag – With WordPress, theme developers can now control the document title and not conflict with WordPress generated title tags.
