Along with the announcement of the new Mi Charge Turbo wireless charging technology, Xiaomi announced its first portable photo printer compatible with augmented reality. A new product that will be released for sale this September 11 and will allow us to have “moving photographs".
A few months ago, coinciding with the opening of XiaomiAdictos, the Chinese firm presented the renewal of its color printer Mijia Photo Printer. A new model that makes use of ink-type cartridges allows us to print full color photographs of 54x86mm at a resolution of 291 × 294 pixels.
Now, adding the great attraction that is proving to be augmented reality, Xiaomi has announced its new Mijia Photo Printer AR, a new model capable of generating photographs with augmented reality capable of showing us a video of up to 15 seconds long.
As we can see on these lines, Mijia Photo Printer AR will be able to print a photo from a small video that we import, allowing later and through its application, that it takes movement through augmented reality (AR). A quite attractive way not only to immortalize those special moments that we have lived through a simple photograph, but also to have up to 15 seconds of video.
For now Xiaomi has not wanted to give us more details regarding the features and specifications of this new Mijia Photo Printer AR since it will not be until this next 11 of September when it is released for sale through crowdfunding at a price of just 299 yuan, some 38 euros to change ($ 42)
