One of the releases that we have scheduled for shortly is the Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro. The new mid-range of the Chinese firm will be released on August 29, that is, within three days, and little by little more details are known. It is known that they will be mid-range and that the Pro model will be in charge of releasing the ISOCELL Bright GW1 64 megapixel sensor, and now the processors.
Recently, MediaTek reported that Redmi Note 8 Pro, the most advanced model, would have the new MediaTek Helio G90T, a processor thought for the public gamer. Now it becomes official that his little brother will arrive with the Snapdragon 665, which to put it in context, is the same SoC that we found in the Xiaomi Mi A3.

The truth is that Xiaomi is being a little jealous with the information it publishes from its terminals. Data such as the screen or RAM has not been brought to light, although the company has not hesitated to show the design of the phones and various details of their cameras. We'll talk about them now, but first let's tackle the processors.
We already know that the Redmi Note 8 Pro will have the MediaTek Helio G90T, an eight-core SoC made of 12 FinFet nanometers that move at a maximum speed of 2.05 GHz. The GPU is the Mali G76, whose speed is 800 mHz. It is, in terms of speed, very similar to Snapdragon 665, which is what we will see in the most basic model. Speaking of performance, also highlight the liquid cooling that this model will have incorporated.

As for the Redmi Note 8, the processor that we will see inside it will be the Snapdragon 665. It is an eight-core Kryo 260 2 GHz chipset manufactured in 11 nanometers accompanied by the Adreno 616 GPU and the Hexagon 686 DSP, which will be responsible for executing artificial intelligence code in the camera.
From the photos published by Xiaomi it can be extracted that both phones will have four rear cameras
Turning to the camera, Xiaomi and Samsung confirmed that Redmi would be the first brand to incorporate a 64-megapixel sensor in a mobile, and so it will be. The model in charge of such premiere will be the Redmi Note 8 Pro, as you would expect if we consider that it is the most advanced model. The Redmi Note 8, meanwhile, will have a 48-megapixel main sensor, which is also not a precisely low figure. We also know that the Redmi Note 8 will have four cameras, same figure as the Pro model.
Nothing is known about its price and availability, beyond that will be presented in China on August 29. The Redmi Note 7 arrived in Spain at a price of between 149 and 249 euros, depending on the version, and the Redmi Note 7 Pro never arrived, so it is possible that this same strategy is followed for the two new terminals. Only time will tell.
