Xiaomi announced today on Weibo that they will launch Mi CC9 Pro at an event in China on November 5. Along with Mi CC9 Pro, the Chinese brand will also present new smart watches and new Xiaomi TV 5 at the same event.
As confirmed by the official poster distributed on Weibo by Xiaomi, the Mi CC9 Pro will be equipped with a penta camera setup on the back with a 108MP primary sensor. This smartphone will also have 5X optical zoom, which again is something we have not seen from Xiaomi. To show how many details the 108MP sensor can capture, Xiaomi also shares a 0.8% partial magnification of photos taken by Mi CC9 Pro.
Although the camera hardware on the Mi CC9 Pro will be very impressive, it is not expected to be a higher grade device. This smartphone is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G chipset under the hood, along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This camera is also expected to have a 13MP secondary ultra-wide camera and an 8MP telephoto lens on the back. In the front it can be a 32MP selfie camera, like the Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e smartphones that was released earlier. In the software department, My CC9 Pro is rumored to ship with MIUI 11 based on Android 10.
In addition to its first 108MP camera smartphone, the company is likely to launch its first smartwatch running on the Wear OS platform at the event. Unfortunately, there are currently no details available on the main features or specifications of smart watches. The same applies to the My TV series. 5.
